Level of anxiety comparable to Trumps` Liberation Day

The Iran conflict is having a profound impact on investor behaviour: Equity market sentiment is plummeting across the board. Fears of an escalation and an energy crisis are unnerving investors just as much as they were when tariffs were announced following Liberation Day. However, some indicators still appear to have room for improvement (e.g. AAII). In the medium term, investors are banking on TACO: “Trump Always Chickens Out – Trump always backs down!” The strategic bias remains stable, or is even climbing in some areas. The situation regarding bonds remains problematic. Crude oil is overbought, whilst precious metals are becoming more attractive.
