Bulgaria expands the Euro Break-up Index

Since 1 January 2026, Bulgaria has been the 21st country in the eurozone. Accordingly, we are expanding the survey for the sentix Euro Break-up Index starting with the next survey. Values will be displayed in the chart generator as soon as two entries are available, i.e. at the end of February 2026.

The addition of Bulgaria has no effect on past numbers. From January 2026 on investors can express their opinion on an additional country. Bulgaria will have an effect on the contagion index if it is one of the three countries with the highest exit probability.

The new data will be available in the database under the following tickers:

SEBIBGH0 - Headline Index
SEBIBGI0 - Institutional sub-index
SEBIBGP0 - Private sub-index
