Precious metals: Significant bias disruption

We are seeing a significant drop in strategic bias for gold and silver. The behaviour pattern suggests that more and more investors are perceiving precious metals as "expensive" and are considering taking profits. Bonds are also under considerable pressure due to a decline in bias. Currently, there are few beneficiaries: the euro appears to be benefiting from the current situation.

Further resuls

  • Equities: Overall situation not convincing
  • Bonds: collapse of confidence and negative sentiment impulse

Collaps in the fundamental confidence on silver

While the stock markets are booming, sentiment and fundamental strategic confidence remain subdued. In contrast, we are seeing a veritable collapse in fundamental confidence in silver. This is likely to cause headaches for the bulls.

Further resuls

  • Equities: Lack of momentum
  • Gold: Also weak bias

Few bears, much irritation in equity markets

Despite the encouraging performance of international stock markets, investors remain largely unmoved. Although there are currently few pessimists in the market, new optimists are few and far between. Irritation is growing, as clearly demonstrated by the still comparatively weak underlying confidence. A week after the coup in Venezuela, disillusionment is spreading in the crude oil market.

Fundamental confidence in equities remains weak

The current mood is reminiscent of the turn of the year 2024/2025. Back then, too, there were few bears in the market, and the trend was rising. This was followed by a weak start to the year. The current weakness in strategic confidence is similar. In contrast, investors are bullish on oil in the medium term – even before the US intervention in Venezuela. The overheated silver euphoria is cooling down in a constructive manner.

  • Silver: Euphoria subsides
