Historically high irritation among German equities

The most striking feature of investor behaviour towards equities at present is the high level of neutrality in the market. This is at a 25-year high for German equities and reflects the enormous irritation among investors. Many do not want to take sides and are therefore fleeing to the neutral camp. This will create pressure to adjust and future volatility as soon as there is more visibility. Technology stocks have also fallen out of favour. The bias continues to erode there.

Silver: Buy signal in the TD Index

The correction in precious metals was brief and sharp, but at the same time it was like a cleansing storm. There was a very rapid and dynamic adjustment in investor behaviour: The outlook for gold, silver and gold mining stocks is now looking good again. The same cannot be said for the Japanese yen, where the bias is far too weak. The data for global stock markets is mixed.

  • Gold mines: Promising setup

TD index in precious metals not yet in buying range

The precious metals markets have been on a rollercoaster ride, ending the week with a crash. This has had only a limited impact on the sentix data. Sentiment shows only a limited reaction, as many participants had already cast their votes before Friday evening. However, weak underlying confidence in gold and silver remains negative. Equities are also failing to impress in this regard.

Further results

  • Equities: Fundamental confidence remains shaken
  • Crude oil: Bias rising significantly

Precious metals: Significant bias disruption

We are seeing a significant drop in strategic bias for gold and silver. The behaviour pattern suggests that more and more investors are perceiving precious metals as "expensive" and are considering taking profits. Bonds are also under considerable pressure due to a decline in bias. Currently, there are few beneficiaries: the euro appears to be benefiting from the current situation.

Further resuls

  • Equities: Overall situation not convincing
  • Bonds: collapse of confidence and negative sentiment impulse

Collaps in the fundamental confidence on silver

While the stock markets are booming, sentiment and fundamental strategic confidence remain subdued. In contrast, we are seeing a veritable collapse in fundamental confidence in silver. This is likely to cause headaches for the bulls.

Further resuls

  • Equities: Lack of momentum
  • Gold: Also weak bias
  • sentix sector sentiment
